Review

The Sector 9 Brandy is another one of the fine products that Sector 9 has included in its Downhill Division. When you get this board in your hands, you immediately realize that you are dealing with something that has been designed to rip down hills and demolish the concrete.

The board itself is attractively designed. On top there is a tasteful yet bold logo showing that this board is part of the Downhill Division. The logo sits on top of an extremely coarse grip tape.

While the logo may be for looks, the grip tape that it sits on top is not. It is designed to help you keep your feet firmly planted on the board as you let it rip down some of the largest hills that you can find. The board has a small tail and a pointy nose. Both of these features add to the subtle elegance of this board.

At more than 40 inches in length and 10 inches wide, this board has more than enough room for you to stand on it comfortably. It has a medium concave that is going to help you to lock your feet when you are carving, turning and sliding down those behemoth hills.amazon button

Sector 9 Brandy reviewThe board has a large wheel base ranging from 25 inches to 30 inches. This feature only adds to the versatility and flexibility of this board. It is equipped with 10 inch Gullwing trucks. Anyone who has rode a board with these kind of trucks realizes that Gullwing trucks are serious downhill trucks.

The board comes equipped with a quarter inch riser. Additionally, the board has wheel wells that are artistically carved into it. Both of these features make wheel bite an impossibility. You can dig deep into those turns and carve with confidence knowing that regardless of what you do, wheel bite will not have you kissing the pavement.

The Sector 9 Brandy has 72 millimeter 78 a wheels. The unique urethane formula that is used for these wheels guarantees that they will make the best connection with the pavement while at the same time allowing you to slide into turns or to come to a complete stop.

This board is perfect for anyone who is looking to be introduced into the world of downhill riding. It is well designed and made with sturdy materials. It is easy to ride, and it provides all of the safety features that a person who is going to bomb their first large hill needs in order to feel comfortable.

The under-body of the board has been beautifully designed. It shows an image of Brandy with the name Sector 9 written on it in bold letters. It is an awesome board to look at.

If you are looking for a board that will allow you to go to the extreme and leave a disaster in your wake as you are tackling some of the Everest-like hills in your area, the Sector 9 Brandy is definitely the board that you are looking for.
