Santa Cruz is a company that has more than 4 decades putting out stellar quality longboards. The Santa Cruz Land Shark is no exception to this rule. Costing just a little over $100, the Land Shark is perfect for the casual skater who is looking to get out there and enjoy themselves while cruising up and down the streets of their neighborhood or in areas that are paved and have slight hills.

This is not the board designed for people who are looking to do extreme tricks or who are looking to bomb down large hills at exceptionally fast speeds. It’s just not made for this. It is compact in size, which means that at extremely high speeds, there will be some instability. This board is perfect for those who are looking to ride at a maximum of 15 mph.

The Santa Cruz Land Shark has a unmistakable Twin Fin design. It has soft wheels, which means that you can ride through your neighborhood and not make a lot of noise. The softer wheels also mean that the board will stick to the pavement, providing a ride that is stable and giving you more control over the board. Because of its extreme popularity, the Santa Cruz Land Shark can be purchased in many retail stores or on the Internet via sites like Amazon.com.

One of the things that really makes this board an eye-catcher is its unique and tasteful design. While not as flashy as some of the other boards that Santa Cruz has been known to design, this board with its all-around sand spray grip is attractive enough to get the attention of even the most avid skateboarders.

Most individuals who purchase this board are happy that it is small and that it is extremely lightweight. They can carry it around as they go from one place to another, and it still looks good when they are riding it through the neighborhood.

Some have complained that the Land Shark, with its high-performance Twin Fin, feels like it is a little bit too small. However, this complaint may stem from the fact that they are looking for a board that is going to be large enough to allow them to perform tricks or to do some serious training. Once again, this board is not designed for that.

It is perfectly designed for beginners who just want to get a feel for what riding a skateboard is like. It is excellent for those with years of experience or those who are just looking for a board that they can use to cruise through their neighborhood. Many parents who have never rode a skateboard before in their life have chosen to purchase the Santa Cruz Land Shark so that they could go out and skate around with their younger children.

Because of its width and sturdy construction, the board can easily support heavier weight. Couple all of these features with its exceptionally low price and it is clear to see why the Santa Cruz Land Shark is the perfect ride for individuals looking to have a quiet, smooth and enjoyable ride as they get from point A to point B. Oh yeah, we forgot to mention that it comes equipped with a built in bottle opener, just in case you get thirsty along the ride.
