Review

It is not uncommon for longboarders and surfers to be one and the same individual. There are a lot of similarities between the two sports. For this reason, many look for a longboard that exemplifies some of the things they love about being on a surfboard. In this regard, the Loaded Dervish Sama will not disappoint.

The Loaded Dervish Sama is an extremely fun board. It is flexible, and has a very surfy feel to it. It is designed to have a little bit more concave than some of the other boards on the market. The result of this is that you will feel your feet locked in comfortably when you are standing on the deck.

The length of the board, at 42.8 inches, means that it is among some of the larger longboards that are available. Additionally, at more than 9 inches wide and with 10 inch trucks, the board has a 31.5 inch wheelbase. This leads to the board having higher stability. This is something that you are definitely going to want, especially when you are traveling at higher speeds.

The board has a drop through deck design. This means that you are going to sit a little closer to the ground. You will have a lower center of gravity. Since the board is lower to the ground, your stability will increase. Additionally, it is very easy to push the board. Getting the board to move requires little to no effort. And the ABEC 7 bearings guarantee that once the board starts rolling, it is going to keep moving smoothly.amazon button

Loaded Dervish Sama CompleteThe dual kick tails and the long nose and tail of the board, which have been designed to turn up, make doing tricks a lot of fun. There are some inventive things that riders are currently doing with this board that have not been seen before. Dual kick tails mean that the rider is going to have more leverage than they would with a board that does not have this feature.

Obviously, the last thing that you’re going to have to worry about is your board breaking on you as you are impressing the world with your amazing tricks. Loaded has thought about this, and so to guarantee the strength of the board, they have added extra fiberglass reinforcements that go from the neck of the board all the way to the tip.

Additionally, the grip tape that you are going to find on the nose and tail of the board is more coarse than what you will find on the platform part or the deck. All of this adds up to creating a board that is going to provide you with more control as you are jamming through your neighborhood and flipping your board around.

The Loaded Dervish Sama has been designed with the rider in mind. It is very clear that Loaded understands that today’s riders want to push themselves to the limit. They want to be able to explore different styles of riding. They want to master old tricks and create new ones. All of these things are possible with the Loaded Dervish Sama.
