Atom Drop Through Longboard Review

The Atom Drop-Through Longboard is designed with stability and speed in mind. It is an ultra-low riding longboard. This means that the board itself provides the rider with a low center of gravity. This board is perfect for carving downhill. Since the board is so low to the ground, it is very easy to push.

A rider can cruise around town all day long with very little wear and tear on their feet and joints. The board has a very unique shape. At 9.5 inches wide, it allows the rider to apply leverage to every single turn. It is designed to remove the fear of wheel bite.

There are many things about the Atom Drop-Through that make it perfect for beginners. First, the price. When you look on Amazon or a longboard distributor’s website, you will see that you can expect to pay between $90-$100 for this board. This makes the board extremely affordable.

Any beginner can pick up this board and experience the same amount of fun that an individual who has more experience and a more expensive board has.

The board has a structure and a body that has been built with all of the best things that a new or experienced longboarder will need to cruise. The board has a modest design. It is attractive but not flashy.

At 41 inches long, the board is extremely stable. Weighing in at only 8.8 pounds, the board is easy to transport. The board’s size and its weight work together to do an amazing job of helping the rider maintain stability. This is great for new riders, especially if they are nervous that they might fall off of their board easily.

The board does not have kick tails. However, there is a reverse kingpin truck that will allow you to adjust the height of the board. This means that you can guarantee the board will always be close to the ground.

So, because of this ultra low wheelbase, carving while going downhill is an easy task. Also, the board is fairly easy to push. When it gets going, the high quality bearings that it has installed keeps it going smoothly on the road.

Another feature of this board that riders enjoy is the fact that certain parts of it can be adjusted. For example, some riders have chosen to make adjustments to the bushings to improve the carving ability of the board.

Others have chosen to make changes to the wheels to either improve or reduce the board’s sliding ability. The board is very comfortable for the rider’s feet to sit on top of. All of these things add to the increased performance a rider can expect from the Atom Drop-Through longboard.
