Over the years, Arbor has distinguished itself as a leader in the world of longboard deck design. One of the reasons why they have been able to design boards that have excelled is because every single individual who founded the company and all who run the company are skaters or surfers. This gives them a unique perspective into what the skating community wants. They have created many boards that have garnered international praise, and in this, the Arbor Zeppelin is no different.
The Zeppelin was designed for one thing and one thing alone- some serious carving. The intuitive design of the Zeppelin shows that Arbor understands what the longboard community craves. They heard the demand, and they just nailed it!
One of the good design decisions they made was coupling their stylish board with Gullwing Sidewinder trucks. The result is a dynamic boarding experience that perfectly integrates pumping power and carving power. All of this has been done without removing the fun factor from the board. For individuals who are looking for a way to keep themselves surf ready when they are away from the waves, the Zeppelin is perfect.
A challenge that many longboards face is how they ride in areas where there are not a lot of hills. For example, a board may do very well in San Francisco, but how well does it hold up in Minneapolis where there is not a hill to be seen? Quite honestly, in this department, many boards are lacking.
