When it comes to this longboard, referring to it as a beast on the asphalt would not to be an over exaggeration. Arbor is a company that has already set itself apart for providing high-quality wood boards. With the Genesis, they have taken their quest to provide quality products to another level. The Genesis Koa longboard was designed to be the flagship cruiser that Arbor produced.

Arbor’s focus on producing a quality board can be seen when we simply take a few minutes and examine the deck. The deck has been designed to provide the rider with maximum-security, extreme sturdiness and the perfect amount of flexibility. This is achieved by using three different materials in the deck’s construction.

The core of the board is made of Maple. The Maple core is wrapped in fiberglass. Then 2 more plies of Maple are applied to the top and bottom of the board. Top that with a Koa finish and you’ve got a board that is going to last.

This unique decking design makes the Genesis exceptionally responsive. It is fast and will react to the slightest movement on the part of the rider. But the coolest thing is that the deck is not just functional, it is absolutely beautiful to look at! It has a gorgeous wood grain style. Anyone who rides this board can guarantee that they are going to catch the eye of anyone around them.amazon button

Arbor Genesis ReviewHaving a twin tip kick tail and a camber concave, the deck makes the board perfect for turning at high speeds while maintaining complete and total control. Added protection has been given to this deck by spraying it with a material that is basically made up of recycled glass.

The board has been given a drop through design. This means that the board itself has a lower center of gravity. The rider’s weight is lower over the wheels. As a result, the rider has greater stability and more control. Add to this the Caliber’s 50 caliber trucks and it is easy to see why the Genesis is the board of choice for those whose riding style requires them to make tight turns and road hugging transitions.

And if all of the above-mentioned features were not enough, the Arbor Sucrose Initiative Summit wheels and ABEC 5 bearings are just icing on the cake. The board comes in two different sizes.

Riders can choose from the 38 inch model or the 44 inch model. The smaller model offers more maneuverability. The larger model provides greater stability while traveling at higher speeds.

Everyone who has ridden this board, and even who have not yet had the privilege but have seen the board in action, agree that it is a beautiful board that handles well and reacts well to its rider. Owners of this board are the envy of all around them.
