Review

We can spend a lot of time talking about the specifications that a longboard has. But, at the end of the day, what a person really wants to know can be boiled down to 3 questions. Is it durable? Is it safe? And most importantly, is it fun to ride? When it comes to the Arbor Catalyst, the answers to all three of those questions is a resounding yes!

The first thing that catches anyone’s eye when they look at the Arbor Catalyst is the beauty of the board itself. In the timeless Arbor tradition, this board has been made with high quality wood. Beautiful graphics designed by Max Neutra, a premier longboard graphic designer, make this board a beauty to behold.

The Catalyst has been designed to be the do-it-all board. It has an amazing set up that will allow the rider to either cruise around town, do a little free riding or even bomb down their local hills. One of the advantages of this board is that it is lightweight.

This means that with very little effort, you can throw it in your backpack and carry it around when you are shopping at the mall. Additionally, the light weight means that it is going to be easy to pop the board and engage in a wide range of freestyle movements.

Arbor Catalyst Review

The key to the Catalyst’s success is its versatility. The board has sufficient concave to effectively lower its center of gravity. Power sliding is a breeze because of how well the board is designed. A special feature that makes the Catalyst standout is its big kick tail. This means that the board is easy to do tricks on. Even though it is a longboard, it is not uncommon to see riders using this board to do some of the same tricks that you see people do on smaller skateboards.

In addition to its wood construction, the board has been designed with two layers of fiberglass. This means that regardless of what you are doing on this board, it is going to be sturdy, and you are going to feel safe on it. Corners have been added to different parts of the board so the rider can use these as a reference point as they are performing tricks.

Because it is low to the ground, the rider is going to only have to use minimal effort to propel the board. This beautifully designed board has been put together in such a way that it is perfect for everyone from beginner to advanced rider.

The Catalyst is an amazing transition board. The reason for this is that it is easy enough for a beginner or intermediate person to use, but it is well-designed enough so that the board will grow with the skill level of the rider. It is unlikely that the rider will get to a point where they will outgrow this board. It is simply that well-designed.
