The Sector 9 Lookout is a uniquely designed board that offers riders the perfect mix of flexibility and stability. Made of five layers of bamboo, the Sector 9 Lookout is great for riders who are looking to experience sharp curves, learn a few freestyle tricks and even bomb down some moderately sized hills.
One of the most impressive features that this board offers is that it’s clear grip tape which allows the rider and all onlookers to see the bamboo in the board. Talk about a board that is unique!
Another exciting feature about this board is its size. It is over 41 inches long and 4.6 inches wide. There is more than enough room for any beginner to find their footing and even experiment with crossover and flatland tricks. The board is low to the ground because it has a drop-through mounting system. This means that newer riders are not going to tire themselves out pushing the board because it has a low center of gravity.
It is equipped with state-of-the-art 78a Nineball wheels and precision ABEC-5 bearings. The wheels are soft enough to stick to the ground, providing the control that newer riders need when they are first trying out downhill boarding and cruising around the city. And let’s not forget the Gullwing Charger trucks that make carving on this board such a pleasure.
This board is extremely versatile. It is designed to give new riders a feel for what it is like to engage in different styles of longboards. An inexpensive price, perfect balance, extreme stability and a unique design are just some of the things that make the Sector 9 Lookout the ideal board for beginners.
